The Day Brett Proposed

Ok so everyone has been wanting me to tell all about Brett proposing... So here are the picts we have!!! On Saturday May 3rd Brett called me in the morn and said hey I am sick of the city lets go for a ride up by Payson!!! So I was like heck ya, that means I don't have to clean!!! We left about two... and drove up to the rim up above Payson... We got out of the truck and it was freezing! Brett had brought some sleeping bags so I decided I'd lay down to take a nap while Brett went walking around looking for Elk sheds!!! I slept for like 30 mins and he came and woke me up and asked me to go on a walk with him!!! Any of you that really know me know that I am grouchy when I wake up.... I was being so difficult but after awhile he convinced me!!! We were about 3/4mile away from the truck when I said I have to go pee so I will just meet ya back at the truck... Brett was very disappointed and said he really wanted me to keep walking with him and told me to go up behind the trees... SO I said ugh ok!!!! Only tryin to please him!!! HA HA Anyways we kept walking and more and more I wondered if he was going to propose but on the way up I had asked him if he had asked my Dad yet and he said no... I told him "Don't you dare ask me before you ask my Dad." So I knew he wasn't gonna ask me!!! SO we kept walkin and at sunset Brett finally says we better get back to the truck before dark. So we turn around and start walking back and Brett gets down on one knee and says "Melissa will you marry me?" All I said to him is "Did you ask my Dad??" ha ha but then he told me he had asked him 2 months ago!!! HA HA It was perfect and we were all by ourselves and it was so ramantic!!!! Brett even planned ahead and him and one of his buddies had gone up during the week to find the perfect spot!!! HE is so cute and I love him and can't wait to be his wife!!!!
