September 5th was our 1 year anniversary! We made it a whole year!!! Or maybe I should say Brett made it a whole year. Its easy for me to put up with him but putting up with me is a little different!!! ha ha.... SO I HAVE THE MOST AMAZING HUSBAND EVER!!!!!! He said that he wanted us to go somewhere fun for our anniversary but he wanted it to be a surprise to me. He did mention that he did not want to drive far so I figured we would be going to Sedona or somewhere close. So when we get in the car to leave, Brett says ok go to sleep. Which for any of you that know me well I can fall asleep in the car really easily. So I go to sleep and I wake up right before the Welcome to California sign. When I saw it I was like what the heck where are we going and Brett just smiles and says go back to sleep... HA HA yeah right I just saw the welcome to Cali. sign! So I am so excited but wasn't sure where we were going still. We ended up in Carlsbad Cali. which is just north of San Diego. I was so so excited and surprised and Brett was excited he actually surprised me since I am so hard to surprise! I had never been to San Diego and had always wanted to go. But then I started thinking in my head oh my heck if I knew I was coming to Cali. I would have gone shopping! I would have bought some new sun dresses, a new swim suit, a new purse some new shoes..... etc. So then I realized why Brett surprised me. Its a lot cheaper when I don't know that I am going on a trip! It was perfect weather and we did a lot in the few days we were there. I was so happy Brett really surprised me and I felt so special. I really look forward to the many many years to come with Brett! So here are some of the picts from the Fabulous trip!!!

We went to the San Diego Zoo!!! It was fun, but it was not as amazing as everyone has always said! I was a little disappointed. But now I can say I went.
And then we went to SEA WORLD!!! It was so so Amazing!!! It is my new favorite place on earth and I told Brett I have a new carreer goal, to work with the Dolphins at Sea World!! Ha ha
We got to the dolphins and Sea Lions at feeding time so they really put on a show for us trying to get food...
And the scary Sharks!!!
And of course Shamu!!!
It was really a great trip and we had so much fun! We laughed so much and relaxed a lot! It was a perfect anniversary trip, especially because it was a surprise!!! :)

How sweet is he! That sounds like so much fun. Next time he plans something tell him to call Tyler so they can suprise us both and we can all hang out! That would be fun! I know what you mean about the San Diego Zoo it is kind of lame. But I have never been to Sea World so know I have to go since it's your favorite place now! How and Happy late Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary! that is so fun! What a GREAT husband! I need a fantastic surprise like that! I love San Diego as well, I could live there if it weren't so stinkin expensive. I also love Sea World, and had the very same "dream" of becoming a dolphin trainer for Sea World. I think everyone envys that job! I can't wait to take my girls there! They will LOVE IT!
Oh I know how you can sleep sister. You can sleep on a 4 foot tall pile of clothes in the middle of the day with the music blasting.I have witnessed it.

I wanted to tell you Casey and I, even though we only met Brett once and it was brief, we got such good vibes from him, he was so warm and so unpretentious. So well done. :)
And I must say you have an awesome husband. I would LOVE to be surprised with something like that. LOVE IT. I keep dropping hints. Anyway that was SO thoughtful of him.
Congratulations, cant wait for the... "Were having a baby!" post. Dont you hate that, I got a lot of that and Im all it's only been a year, get off my back... and here I am putting on the pressure.
